On Friday, October 27, at midnight, Swift’s fifth studio album, which had been rerecorded, was made available. It was published precisely nine years after the original 1989 was released in 2014. All 13 of the original songs are included in the remastered set, along with three bonus tracks: “Wonderland,” “New Romantics,” and “You Are In Love.”

With the release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version), Swift will only need to rerecord two albums: Reputation, her final album released with Big Machine Records in 2017, and her self-titled debut from 2006. She released Red (Taylor’s Version) and Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in 2021, and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) in July of this year.
