Kathmandu- On 28th October 2023, one of the very famous band of Nepal, Monkey Temple will be performing live in Dubai. The venue of the performance is Club SK7, Burdubai. Artists like Sajjan Shrestha and Sujan Zimba will be featured as well.
One of the first alternative rock bands in Nepal is called Monkey Temple. Monkey Temple was one of the very few bands to break into the Nepali rock scene during a time when the rock music scene was unheard of.
It all took place at St. Xavier’s School in the year 1998. Several buddies who shared a love of rock music formed the ensemble that is today known as Monkey Temple Band. There was no expensive equipment or high-quality equipment back then. All that the gang wanted to do was create some great music, so they started off with what they had.
