Kathmandu- On 23rd of March 2023, Katha: Episode 6 was released on YouTube. Katha is a video series that delivers the stories behind songs beyond the song-writing. Within few hours of release it has gained 110K views. It was released through Sajjan Raj Vaidya’s official YouTube channel. The song that they sung is Aaudai Jadai. The song was released on a note, “ As things come and go, in Katha: Episode VI, we revisit the story behind ‘Aaundai Jaandai’ by The Uglyz (Sarun Tamrakar) in the company of the magician of a musician, Manish Gandharva.”

The Uglyz is a school band that was founded in 1995 by Little Angel’s School students Sarun Tamrakar (singer) and Sudip Tamrakar (guitarist). When drummer Rakin Lal Shrestha joined them, the group was complete.
Sajjan Raj Vaidya, whose home base is New York City, is a Nepalese singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer, and producer. His first single, “Aaja Matra,” was released in 2014, and he gained popularity after the release of his subsequent singles, “Hawaijahaj” and “Chitthi Bhitra”. “Hataarindai, Bataasindai” is one of his most well-known singles.
