However, this week, Swifties aren’t feeling quite as happy because of the extreme demand for Swift tickets, which forced Ticketmaster to cancel its public on-sale and drove up prices.
Numerous fans were turned away before the confirmed pre-sale by Ticketmaster even started, despite the fact that Ticketmaster was the official selling partner for Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour tickets. For a chance to get tickets, fans had to register for the presale and be “invited.” Even if the goal was good—avoiding competition with bots for the best seats—only a small number of people really had the opportunity to place an order.
