Rajesh Payal Rai, who was born on September 30, 1975, is a singer and actor from Nepal. He is referred to as “Rai is King” in the media and is well-known in the Nepali music scene as a versatile singer. More than 100 Nepali movies have featured his playback singing. Additionally, he has released a number of private CDs, including Syamuna, Rai is King, and Darshan Namaste. He has performed songs in both Japanese and Bhojpuri. From 1995 until 2015, he went on a worldwide concert tour and received numerous music prizes. He also took part in Melancholy, an environmental song performed by 365 Nepali artists and set a Guinness World Record. Melancholy was created, written, composed, and directed by environmentalist Nipesh DHAKA.
