Tihar, the festival of lights is just around the corner. Celebrated as our second greatest festival after Dashain, Tihar usually falls in the month of Kartik. Bhailo and Deusi are traditional Tihar rituals that are sung during the festival of light called “Tihar” in Nepal. Children and teenagers sing songs and dance as they go to homes in their community, collecting money, sweets, food and giving blessings for prosperity.
