Nepathya, the most celebrated folk rock band of our country has recently released the official music video of their old song-“Ghar Ko Kura”.It has only been a month since the release of their latest music video-Hami Nepali from their new album;having used the special double exposure effect that they are back with a new one-“Ghar Ko Kura”. Unlike Hami Nepali the song was shot by an iphone(5) during their US tour in 2016
“Ghar ko kura” is a song from their sixth album-Ghatana. The song was written in June 2004 and included in their album in 2006. The album Ghatana was released during the period of Maoist insurgency in the country. It was an initiative for peace and harmony. It is an album focused on patriotism, peace and the contemporary issues plaguing Nepal at that time.
“Everyone was busy with their own life and I didn’t find anyone to share my feelings of sorrows and greif;the issues plaguing my homeland. No one undesrstood me.”says the song.
