Prem Dhoj is one of the prominent figure of Nepali Music Industry.Born 1938 in Chautara,Sindhupalchwok he is also known as the golden voice of Nepal. Also known as the king of Romantic melodies Prem Dhoj Pradhan has sung songs like “Yo nani ko siraima”,”yoh nepali sir uchali”,”guras ko lali”, “lagdacha mana”,etc.The first song he sang was “Yad Kasaikko Aairahecha Yo Andheri Ratama”. He is also known for being the first to perfrom with a guitar in Nepal.He was also the first Nepali singer to sing with Indian playback singer Usha Mangeshkar for the movie Maitighar in 1965. In 1985, he sang duet songs with Asha Bhosle for the movie Mayalu in Bombay, India.
