Legendary Madan Krishna Shrestha, who is an actor, a comedian, a singer and a writer, uploaded his old song “Gundruk Pakaunu Pardaina” on his YouTube channel and Facebook page. The song was recorded more than 50 years ago in 1969. In the video, Shrestha explains a bit about this song. He had penned the lyrics and composed the music for the song. Similarly, his late friend Ramesh Tamrakar had accompanied him on the vocals. The video credits go to his son who is also a singer, Yaman Shrestha.

He gained a lot of popularity from his performance in Rashtriya Gaijatra Mahotsav in 2032 BS. Not to mention, he had already worked as an actor in Nepali movie industry for 10 years at the point. The most popular TV series of the duo is “Madan Bahadur Hari Bahadur”. Besides this, they have produced several telefilms based on sociopolitical issues of Nepal.
