Rishav Dutta, a 17-year-old teen from Tinsukia District of Assam was diagnosed with a rare condition called Aplastic anaemia two years ago. On July 9, he had to bid goodbye and took his last breath in Bengaluru where he had been undergoing treatment.

The videos of the aspiring singer went viral on social media at the end of 2019 where he used to play his guitar and sing songs that could melt everyone’s heart. His covers of ‘Achha Chalta Hoon’ from the movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Kabira’ from ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ have attained popularity on social media. Many people have expressed their deep condolences for his death after watching the videos. Here are the links to these performances.

As per the Indian Express, his friends and family regularly shared his videos of him singing in his hospital room, often surrounded by the doctors and the nurses. The videos were liked praised by the people and they also started to raise funds for a bone marrow transplant.
