Mental Radio started out as a cover band performing contemporary hits from the 60’s to present day. A Nepali Pop/Rock band established in the year 2010, the current line of the band, however, has formed in January 2015. The bands debut album is schedule for release on August 19, 2016.
Mental Radio a pop-rock band, that the genre is the last thing on their mind when creating songs. The band members bring in their own varied influences and inspirations and work towards defining the feel of the songs.
Brought together by music, Mental Radio hopes to raise awareness regarding mental health issues in Nepal. It is the bands belief that issues of mental health are not give the platform that it needs because of the social stigma attached to it.
