The Kathmandu Valley is the musical center of rock, blues and metal scene in Nepal. Many new Metal bands have emerged in Kathmandu valley. These days, metal, jazz and blues has been highly appreciated by the Nepali music lovers. Rock, blues, jazz and metal are evolving in Nepal with much improvement in quality and performance.
Underside is a New Age Metal band from the Third World Street of Kathmandu, Nepal formed in November 2011. The music they play is very aggressive yet dark & melodic sometimes.
Underside rock Metal band is one of the International Nepalese rock metal bands. The band was able to gather the follower since their early days. This band has formed back in 2011 and this metal band with influences from retro rock to old school trash influence delivered in a modern way.
Until date, Underside has been part of various national & International events.
Band’s debut EP ‘ Welcome to the Underside’ was released on January 2014 which has received positive feedbacks from inside as well as outside the country. Avishek KC has known as a lead of this band.
“Satan in Your Stereo” is the song from Band’s much awaited upcoming Album “Satan in Your Stereo”, mixed and mastered by Justin Hill (Ex Vocalist of SIKTH).
