The Canadian R&B singer, The Weeknd won 10 trophies at Billboard Music Award 2021 which was held on Sunday, May 23 at Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. He was nominated in 16 categories out of which he won 10 awards. He was the biggest highlight of the show.

After winning top artist honour, he said “I do not take this for granted.”

The Weeknd has won 19 awards now since he started his career. He won awards for top male artist, top Hot 100 artist, top Radio Songs artist, top R&B artist, top R&B male artist, top R&B album for the album ‘After hours’, top Hot 100 song, top radio song and top R&B song for ‘Binding lights’ at 2021 BBMAs. He is now listed in Billboard’s most wins of all time.

The other winners were Drake who won the prestigious artist of the decade award followed by Pop Smoke with five wins, and BTS and Bad Bunny with four each.
