Heavy metal originated in the late 1960s and early 1770s, simply is the genre of rock music. The exotic genre which started with a whisper ruled the streamline airwave no sooner. The heavy metal genre is so popular overall global genre that it once took the overall global genre loyalty crown.

Metallica, Slayer, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Sepultura, Pantera, Cradle of Filth and Anthrax have always been top listed hard core metal bands among the diehard fans of metal. However, there are still some other bands, new and old, which have always rocked the stage and pleased their fans.

Here comes a new band, totally new-fangled in the history of metal band. Clad in Hijab and playing hard metal is something rare to see and it’s even more shocking when the artists are young teenage girls aging in between 15 and 16.

These girls from Garut, West Java, call themselves ‘Voice of Baceprot’. Firrda Kurnia, lead guitarist and vocals, Widi Rahmawati, bassist and vocals and Euis Siti, drummer, are slaying stereotypes in the country where metal genre is yet to make a popular space and girls singing is yet not widely accepted.
