The ongoing season 3 of the popular singing reality show “Nepal Idol” now only has four contestants left as one of them was eliminated on Thursday.

Last week’s performance day’s “Uplifting Performance of The Day” winner Kiran K Bhujel performed first with his version of Mingma Sherpa‘s “Aanshu Jhardina Ma“. The song has the lyrics and the music of Dawa Tsering. He received average comments from the judges.

After Bhujel, Neshan Pun Magar gave his performance of the song “Yo Mutuma Launa” by Lekali Band. The judges appreciated this performance of him as compared to his previous performances.

Then, Sajja Chaulagain covers the song “Halla Chalechha” by Raju Lama (Mongolian Heart). She seemed to have problems with some notes, nevertheless, she received good comments with applauds from everyone for her feels in the song.

Afterwards, the stage was echoed with the voice of Kevin Glan Tamang of the song “Jati Maya Laye Pani” by legendary Arun Thapa. The song contains the lyrics of Binod Gauchan. His high note singalong of the melody might not be liked by the audiences who have heard the version of 1974AD, as he used flat notes for it. Nevertheless, the performance was well-appreciated by the judges neglecting the few errors at the end.

After Tamang, the powerful contestant Prabin Bedwal performed the song “Hey Mann” by the singer Shankar Thapa Smile. This song is penned by Rakhi Gauchan. The title deserving contestant for many audiences, Bedwal sang the song beautifully which compelled the judges to applaud and commend the rendition.

Finally, the awards “Uplifting Performance of The Day” and “Glamor Moment of The Day” went to Sajja Chaulagain and Kevin Glan Tamang.

Similarly, Kiran K. Bhujel became the highest voted contestant for this week and entered the top four round.

Sadly, the contestant who had to leave the show became Neshan Pun Magar.
