The Edge Band has officially announced disbandment!
Popular rock band ‘The Edge Band’ has decided not to continue their musical journey together. On November 9 5:47 PM, the band’s official Facebook page uploaded a post in which the founder and lead vocalist of the group- Jeewan Gurung announced that they would be parting ways because of the difficult situation posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the post Jeewan cites:
“Namaste and Hello to ALL the FANS, WELL-WISHERS, FRIENDS & FAMILIES around the WORLD.
Members: Bishnu Gurung (Lead Guitarist), Sandeep BK (Bass Guitarist), Albin Pariyar (Rhythm Guitarist) Ganesh Rai (Drummer) AND: Jeewan Gurung (Vocalist and the frontman of The Edge Band)Subject – DiscontinueWith Heavy heart, We have come to make this decision, Due to this Global Pandemic COVID-19 situation; we are not able to continue our musical journey. When the situation is back to normal, We will definitely come back with a new line up and also new songs and content. Meanwhile we all have decided to discontinue as a band members and carry on with our lives with our own individual projects.I, Jeewan Gurung the vocalist and the founder of The Edge Band; personally would like to thank each and every one of you for an amazing journey through out all these years. You guys are and will always be close to my heart for making the band that is today. Really thank you from the bottom of my heart.I will be sharing new songs and solo projects, Stay tuned !!
