Concert goers at the concert held in Hanover, Germany on 19 September were tested by covid sniffing dogs as a trial. The open-air concert by Fury in the Slaughterhouse was a trial concert where around 500 attendees were made to take  a PCR test and rapid antigen test and their sweat samples were sniffed by several dogs to detect Covid-19.

According to the University of Veterinary Medicine Hanover(TiHo) “Covid-sniffing dogs could detect Covid-19 with 94% accuracy.”

The concert was the first of four trials to investigate whether trained covid detecting dogs are applicable for use in everyday circumstances. It was a part of a trial project called “Back to culture”
